  Red currant ROTET

 

Berry:

 
large grapes of big berries
good taste, very sweet when fully ripe (berries colour very early!)
the best resistance to rain and diseases from all red currants
  Ripening:
 
late mid-season
pickable over a very long period (six weeks).
berries can stay on the bush for a very long time. They develope a darker red colour and a high sugar content (best for juice/wine making)
  Growth:
 
strong grower, suited for every 'regular' garden soil
developes very rapidly into a healthy bush with an enourmous crop.
